Proactive Healthcare
In Japan’s super-aging society, it is increasingly important not only to treat diseases after they occur, but also to detect subtle physical and mental changes before disease onset and to establish systems that help people maintain and improve their health. The field of Proactive Healthcare focuses on physical and mental conditions and lifestyle changes that cannot be fully captured by the simple presence or absence of disease. It aims to develop preventive healthcare approaches that support each person in living well.
Human health is shaped not only by physical condition, but also by mental state, relationships with others, work styles, living environments, and connections with local communities. This field comprehensively examines the interaction between individuals and their environments, and explores forms of health support that contribute not only to individual health, but also to the well-being of surrounding people and society as a whole.
Proactive Healthcare is a scientific field that seeks to prevent disease before onset, while also supporting people in living in their own way, moving forward positively, and supporting one another. From the perspective of proactive health support, this field aims to contribute to the extension of healthy life expectancy, the improvement of well-being, and the realization of a society in which people can work and live healthily and happily.
