Spatiotemporal control of intracellular RNA delivery
We developed a method for light-directed intracellular RNA delivery using photosensitive RNA carriers. Our light-directed intracellular RNA delivery method induced high concentrations of RNA in a short period. This effect was beneficial for the temporal control of cellular events by functional RNAs. We are now using this method for applications to investigate space- and time-dependent RNA functions. Also we are trying to expand this method for RNA-drug delivery to cancer cells.
