TCP is a fundamental communication protocol, which has been used since the dawn of the Internet. In new network environments such as data center networks and multihomed network devices, TCP can be bottleneck of data transmissions. In this research theme, we modify TCP so that it can avoid throughput degradation called TCP incast in data center networks and we investigate multipath TCP for multihomed network devices.
