Development of a System to Visualize Pre-disease States and Support Health Behaviors

Recognizing physical and mental changes before disease onset and translating this awareness into daily health behaviors is an important challenge for extending healthy life expectancy. However, conventional health checkups mainly identify the presence of disease or abnormal test values, and it is often difficult to capture pre-disease conditions such as fatigue, low mood, reduced activity, or disrupted lifestyle habits.

This project regards physical and mental conditions that are difficult to detect through disease-based assessment as pre-disease states, and aims to develop a system that helps individuals recognize their own health status and take positive steps toward healthier behaviors. By using constitution assessment, questionnaires, health data, and lifestyle information, the project seeks to visualize each person’s condition in an easy-to-understand manner and provide suggestions for lifestyle improvement and self-care tailored to the individual.

In this project, health support is not regarded as one-way instruction, but as accompanying support that respects each person’s lifestyle and values. By helping individuals notice changes in their physical and mental condition at an early stage and make sustainable behavioral changes, this research aims to contribute to the extension of healthy life expectancy and the improvement of well-being.
