Deep learning method to visualize atmosphere of tourist area with simple annotations

Sounds are one of the most valuable information sources for human beings from the viewpoint of understanding the environment around them. In this study, we try to visualize environmental sounds based on crowded situation classification and sound source identification. To collect environmental sounds, we adopted a crowdsourcing approach by developing a smartphone application, since smartphones are used very commonly nowadays and equipped with microphones and GPS sensors.
